Michael Morse has been named to the U.S. Olympic Team!
Congratulations to Michael Morse '99 on his 15th-place finish at the Vancouver Olympics.

"I like to set high goals for myself, hoping I can reach them. For the upcoming season, I hope to become one of the best skiers on the [Killington] B team. I trust myself and think I may be able to reach this goal through hard work and effort."
- In a letter written by Michael Morse to then KMS Head of School, Bill McCollom, 1994

Hard work and effort, indeed.

KMS alum Michael Morse ('99) set his sights on making the Olympic Team and competing at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver this February. With five top-ten finishes in World Cup events preceding the Olympics, Morse has been named to the U.S. Olympic Team.

Now more than ever it is clear that the values about hard work and determination, which were at the core of his KMS education, have allowed him to pursue his passion to the ultimate level in freestyle competition.

His former KMS coaches are on the edge of their seats. Emotion wells up as tears just thinking about the possibility of what might happen in the next two months.

Join us on Killington Mountain School's Michael Morse watch - as we cheer him on and support him on his Road to the Olympics.
