Brendan is a Vermonter and an alumni of Killington Mountain School, Class of 2011. He grew up in the nearby town of Mendon, Vermont where he developed his passion for sport and the outdoors. As a young athlete, Brendan gravitated towards alpine ski racing and soccer. This eventually led him to attend Killington Mountain School, where he developed the skills to be successful in both academics and athletics.
After graduating from KMS and Rutland High School, Brendan attended Hamilton College where he majored in biology. As Hamilton is a liberal arts college, Brendan was fortunate enough to study a variety of other subjects which included chemistry, economics, comparative literature, French, and Italian. Brendan also played Division 3 varsity soccer and raced alpine at the USCSA club level for Hamilton College.
Brendan now teaches biology and algebra. He is also an assistant U14 alpine coach and a dorm parent. In his free time, Brendan rock climbs and plays soccer.
