Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Connecticut. Following her completion in undergraduate coursework, Kate earned her Master of Arts in Education from the University of Connecticut NEAG School of Education. Kate currently holds state licenses to teach secondary English Language Arts in Connecticut and Vermont.

Aside from teaching and coaching, Kate’s passions include surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and rock climbing.
