Before joining KMS, she taught in both independent and public schools in Massachusetts. In addition to teaching, Liz directed international exchange programs, worked in admissions and managed curriculum development within primary and secondary institutions. Liz holds a B.A. in French with minors in Spanish and Linguistics as well as her M.Ed in Languages. She is certified in French K-12, Elementary Curriculum and Sheltered English Immersion in VT and MA.

Liz grew up sailing on Buzzards Bay. She sailed for her college, ran youth sailing programs and lived on a sailboat in South Carolina. She serves on the board of Wild Harbor Sailing, a non-profit sailing school in MA.

After commuting up to Pico every weekend for many winters, Liz now permanently resides in Rutland Town. She is the proud parent of three skiers and a rescue dog. In her free time, Liz enjoys skiing, sailing, swimming, paddle-boarding and traveling.
