Snowboard athlete Matt Miller on the move
The 2015-2016 has been an outstanding one for KMS Snowboard athlete Matt Miller. Through his hard work and dedication, he has made remarkable progress and earned strong results. He currently competes in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and SnowboardCross events.
Last year he competed in his first NorAm level events in SL and GS. He followed that by moving to the NorAm level this season in SnowboardCross as well. Matt’s performance this March at USASA Nationals was a great end to a phenomenal season. He earned podiums in Slalom and SnowboardCross along with a top ten finish in Giant Slalom.
Strong results at key events have earned Matt multiple new opportunities. These include a place on the 2016-2017 Donek Snowboards youth team along with invitations to USSA Project Gold development camps in Slalom, Giant Slalom, and SnowboardCross.
Snowboard coach Jeff Juneau commented on Matt’s season, “On and off the hill, he has been a great example of what we encourage KMS athletes to be. We would like to congratulate Matt on a great year and are looking forward to seeing what new success next season will bring!”
