Student of the Week - November 9, 2016
Congratulations to Bobby Ryan, who was named Student of the Week at Wednesday's all-school meeting. Bobby is a 12th grade Alpine athlete who comes to KMS from Hurley, NY. He was nominated for this award by several of his teachers for work he's completed while away on a training trip in Stubai, Austria. Math Department Chair Steve Tuckerman commented, "Bobby has done outstanding work in Calculus while traveling," a sentiment that was seconded by World Languages Department Chair Claudia Ravenko-Bowen, "Bobby is conscientious and highly self-motivated. He excels both in Spanish 5 and in the Understanding Terrorism course. Despite his extensive travel schedule, Bobby always keeps up with his assignments and communicates with me regularly in regards to readings, tasks and projects. This is a very well-deserved recognition for him!" English Department Chair Alex Crivici commented, "Bobby has done an exceptional job keeping up with class work in English, and going above and beyond on assignments and also with participating in the Seminar Series every time we meet." Congratulations, Bobby on a job well done!
