Student of the Week - December 7, 2016
Congratulations to Justin Giltz who was named Student of the Week at this Wednesday's all-school meeting. Justin is an 11th grade Snowboard athlete who comes to KMS from Allentown, PA. He was nominated for this award by English Department Chair Alex Crivici who commented, "Justin is new to the full-term program and is doing an excellent job in class. He is witty, hardworking, and enthusiastic in class discussions. He is a great addition to the class environment!" Science Department Chair Terri Isidro added, "I also feel that Justin should be named Student of the Week; he is a wonderful student. Justin shows great initiative and willingness to work hard and get up to speed as a new student in the full-term program. He has a really positive attitude toward learning and is extremely friendly and kind in his interactions with other students in class. Justin is mature, and takes responsibility for his learning and assignments, but at the same time he always has a smile and a happy, relaxed manner. I am delighted that he's a part of my Chemistry class this year!" History Department Chair Courtney O'Keefe agreed, "Justin is a great addition to my US Government and Economics class. Although I have not had him long, he easily transitioned into the class as if he were a part of it since the beginning of the year. He has asked really great questions, participated in class discussions, and turned in very thoughtful work. I look forward to what the rest of the year will be like with him in class. He is a nice addition to our full-term program." Congratulations, Justin! Keep up the good work, and welcome to the full-term program!
