U16 Nationals:
In Friday's SG, Coach Lon Bretell commented that Izzy Jenne "skied very well when the race came in the afternoon; the top part of the run was excellent, but there was some desire to be even more aggressive and coming into headwall Izzy came in too straight and crashed." In Sunday's SL Izzy was 19th overall. In Monday's GS Izzy skied very well, finishing third in the first run. Her second run was aggressive and great skiing, but her inside ski hit a rut and bounced inside causing a straddle and big crash. Lon's overall takeaway was that "there's no doubt that Izzy is one of the few top skiers in her age group in the country." Well done, Izzy!
Danish Nationals:
Jonas Barslund Pedersen and Bastian Blaafalk took second and third in the U18 Super G and Oscar Preisler found the the top step, taking the gold medal in both the Super G and the GS!
