USASA Nationals update
The Killington Mountain School Snowboard crew has been west for USASA Nationals, with competition beginning yesterday for the group. Snowboard Program Director Jeff Juneau checked in with an update: "USASA Nationals for Junior and Youth men for SBX kicked off yesterday. The KMS crew stacked up some pretty serious results." "In Junior Men," Juneau continued, "Cameron Poklop won the small final to earn fifth place, while Logan Plourde and Tye McBroom earned their best Nationals results with tenth and eleventh. Henry Wilson was riding strong in practice before taking a tumble and pulling out due to minor concussion symptoms. In Youth Men, Ben Smith earned fourth place for his best Nationals result with a photo finish in the big final that saw him less than three inches off the podium. Liam Scott earned 34th in a field of 82 for his first Nationals in the Youth category. Next up is Slalom and Giant Slalom for Liam on Wednesday and Thursday."
Best of luck to the crew for continued success!
