Matthew Krimmel wanted to win the downhill mtb race, and win he did! His first win. What happened next was special.
Part of the winning gifts at the recent downhill race at Killington was an RC car. The US Open Next Gen Grom Bomb race prize was an RC car worthy of many an adult admiration. Matthew received the prize and promptly gave it to the younger son of his coach Jason DiDomenico. "I was so totally blown away and so proud of Matt, both for winning AND for the gesture" said Jason, "the gift was incredible, we were speachless."
Matthew was nominated for the Black Bear Award by Assistant Head of School Dave Willis as the gift of the prize epitomizes the KMS core values of Responsibility and Character.
Congratulations Matthew.
