Great Gulf Continues its Commitment in the Killington Region Through Partnership with Killington Mountain School

KILLINGTON, VT (DATE) - Great Gulf, the developer of the upcoming one-of-a-kind master-planned village at Killington, announced today a partnership with Killington Mountain School (KMS) that furthers its commitment and investment in the region. The partnership will officially begin at this weekend’s Stifel Killington Cup with the Killington Mountain School & Great Gulf Kick-Off Party at The Foundry on Friday, November 29 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Proceeds from the sold-out event will benefit the KMS Annual Fund.

Killington Mountain School is the longest-running winter-term ski academy and has taught young adults the value of hard work and commitment since 1974. KMS has provided student-athletes the opportunity to pursue excellence on the slopes and in the classroom. KMS alumni have proved themselves as athletes, scholars, and leaders in both business and the community.

Through the partnership, Great Gulf will support KMS in its mission to provide educational opportunities for student-athletes with high aspirations and steadfast integrity by offering highly individualized programs, skilled teachers and coaches, a dedicated staff and the technological infrastructure to support distance learning.

Great Gulf is progressing with plans for LiveKillington, a new four-season resort-style residential community and village, offering innovative modern architecture, transformative amenities, and stunning landscape design. The first phase village will feature over 720 ski-in/ski-out condominiums, along with a collection of semi-detached and single-family lots on the adjacent Ramshead neighborhood. A vibrant, pedestrian-oriented village will feature more than 110,000 square feet of retail and dining space, as well as two public squares and an 85,000-square-foot iconic lodge designed by Moshe Safdie, replacing the current Snowshed and Ramshead lodges. In addition, there will be dramatic waterfront improvements to Snowshed Pond, including a retail promenade. Design and development are moving forward, and sales of the village’s first homes are slated to launch in late 2025. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2026 with occupancy in late 2027 and early 2028.
