Killington and KMS provide post-World Cup training opportunity

The legacy of the Stifel Killington Cup continues to inspire the next generation of ski racers as it returns to Killington on November 30-December 1, 2024. This fall, Killington Resort, in partnership with Killington Mountain School (KMS), is once again offering aspiring athletes an extraordinary opportunity to train on their World Cup venues after the big event. This initiative allows young skiers to train on the same specialized surfaces used at the highest level, giving them a unique edge and invaluable experience as they prepare for the upcoming winter competition season.

With two World Cup-ready venues, Superstar and Skyelark, available from December 3 to December 8, this 6-day training project will support a wide array of regional clubs, academies, collegiate, and national teams. Last year, around 350 skiers from 23 clubs and programs across the Northeast took advantage of this exceptional training environment, which would otherwise require travel to distant locations like Colorado or Europe. The extended access to top-tier training conditions promises to elevate performance and drive the success of these athletes throughout the ski season.
